The NGM gathers a lot of data that is relevant for the molecular diagnosis of tumor material. Requirements for this are established in the NGM due to regulations for the integrated health care. A complete patient follow up after the diagnosis has not been possible yet.<\/p>\n

The NGMcis project is targeting a detailed assessment of the progress of the disease of all cancer patients that were diagnosed within the NGM, based on the data that is gathered during their decentralized treatment. NGMcis aims for an extensive evaluation of the disease and it\u2019s course and the founding of a data interface across sectors.<\/p>\n

As the first group in Europe, the Network Genomic Medicine has offered a comprehensive analysis of tumor material since 2012. By means of a multiplex-test in combination with highly sensitive deep sequencing even rare gene mutations in the smallest tissue samples are detected reliably<\/p>\n

At the Network Genomic Medicine we try to offer an appropriate clinical trial testing a new drug to all our patients who have a detected mutation, for which there has no drug been approved for treatment yet. For that we work closely together with the Lung Cancer Group Cologne.<\/p>\n

Im NGM erfolgt eine umfassende Dokumentation von Daten, welche f\u00fcr die Durchf\u00fchrung der molekularen Diagnostik des Tumormaterials relevant sind. Die Anforderungen hierzu sind u.a. durch die Bestimmungen der Integrierten Versorgung im NGM festgeschrieben. Ein vollst\u00e4ndiges Patienten Follow Up \u00fcber den Zeitpunkt der Diagnostik hinaus ist bislang nur eingeschr\u00e4nkt m\u00f6glich gewesen.<\/p>

Das NGMcis Projekt setzt sich als Ziel eine detaillierte Erfassung des Krankheitsverlaufs aller innerhalb von NGM diagnostizierten Krebspatienten basierend auf ihren w\u00e4hrend der dezentralen Behandlung entstehenden, interdisziplin\u00e4r erhobenen Daten. Durch NGMcis soll eine weitreichende Evaluation des Krankheitsverlaufs der Krebspatienten erm\u00f6glicht werden. Das Projekt soll eine Sektoren \u00fcbergreifende Daten-Schnittstelle im NGM etablieren.<\/p>

Das Netzwerk Genomische Medizin bietet eine umfassende molekulare Analyse von Tumorproben an.
